Miscellaneous Musings

Our computer's hard drive is unfortunately nearing its maximum capacity fast, so hence I am currently writing this post while having a number of other things happening at once, namely, the fascinating job of locating and then deleting pointless footage off a computer!

Anyhow, Bonnie and I completed our practice journey! (Read these posts here and here to find out more).  Knowing that you biked 100 km is such a wonderful feeling...
The scenery was wonderful and I really enjoyed it, although it was rather hard work, particularly when we had quite a lot of wind on the 2nd day. Any biker would know that a head wind is not good when cycling!

The next Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV:
“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—” -1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV

This verse is such a lovely reminder and even more so at the beginning of another school year, when many people face big decisions about choosing which paths to follow with their futures.  We need to remember that if we love the Lord then He has amazing things planned for us, so we just need to trust in Him completely.  Our lives belong to Him, as does everything that we do.  It is so easy to forget that He is in control and will work everything out in His timing which is always perfect.

 "However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him"— 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV
