Diligence, Dedication and Determination

Being diligent and a good worker is a very valuable character trait that is often overlooked. The Bible says a lot about this, take the following verses for example:

"All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." -Proverbs 14:23

"God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end..." -Hebrews 6:10-11

Often towards the end of the term it becomes an even greater challenge to continue putting your best effort into everything that you do. We have to keep reminding ourselves that we are serving the Lord, not men.  "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters..." -Colossians 3:23.

Even when we are just plodding through endless math problems we must always put forward our best. As Christians our lives reflect Christ to everyone around us so we need to show diligence in everything that we do.

" ‘And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought." -
1 Chronicles 28:9

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might..." -Ecclesiastes 9:10

Be encouraged to continue faithfully serving and glorifying the Lord in everything that you do!

"How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation." -Daniel 4:3
